Your readers might not be interested in car batteries or soufflés, but they will be interested in the human condition of being stuck and miserable or embarrassed, and they will read on.There are two basic types of process essays: A) an essay that givesconcrete instructions for how to do or make something, and B) an essaythat gives suggestions for achieving a specific outcome.A good process essay gives specific instructions, and often explainswhy something should be done in a specific way or warns againstskipping a step or not following instructions carefully.The purpose of this type of process essay is to inform the reader.
